Sniglettes of Life

it's been a while

it's been a while since this photo session.  i was filling the order today and i just love the colors....and of course the kids!  i thougt i'd share justin and his twin brother and sister, jason and jamie with you.  these shots were taken on the shore of sarasota bay.  

visit with great grandma

i took maggie over to great grandma's house today for a visit!  maggie sat in great grandma's wheel chair while great grandma sat in her recliner.  maggie and i sang, "you are my sunshine" to great grandma and she loved it!  great grandma gave maggie a dollar and a baggy of candy and then sang a cute song about candy to maggie.  it was beautiful. 

if there is someone in your life that you keep thinking about and saying to yourself, "i need to go see her," do it today.  don't keep putting it off.

aunt cathy, i went over to take that picture you wanted, but the timing was bad, so i'll go back over saturday morning and try again.  i did however get a couple of shots of maggie while we were visiting grandma, so i'll share them.

my mom and grandma

these are some shots i took today at my grandma's house.  she is getting older and weaker.  it is sad, but she has had a great life.  i took these images for one reason.  i wanted to document the love between these two women.  my mom has taken a great part in caring for grandma, her mother in law.  she sings with her, holds her hand and simply shows the greatest love.....the purest, simplest love that i have ever seen.  i haven't had mom to babysit my kids lately, but it is sacrifice that i will gladly make, knowing the good she is doing at grandma's house.  i've said it before, and i'll say it again, my mom is a hero to me!

sunday moring at church

i took my camera to church sunday morning to get some images for the church web site.  it happened to be the day that renee's grandson was being baptized, so i took some pictures of the event from the choir loft.  i also took some shots of the kids, some other members and of renee singing before the service.

another one of my best friends.  joline and i have been friends since we were in kindergarten.  these are a couple of snapshot taken at an event that i was photographing.  they turned out pretty good for a snapshots....!

i was blessed with the opportunity to meet george today.  he is 6 months old and he was so sweet ......he only cried once....and i got a picture of it.  let's just say that he doesn't like wearing hats!
