i thought it might me fun to take a trip through time.......if realizing how old you are starting to look is fun, i  had a ball!!!!  these pictures are yearbook scans from the 6th grade through my first year in college...then, the last picture is from today !

who me....an inspiration?

I got an e-mail the other day.....and i am so proud!!!!

"Light of my life, footprints on my trashcan!  OK, maybe not so poetic!  I just finished looking at Jenny's blog (for those of you not familiar, check it out, www.jennywaringphotography.com, then click view blog.  There are some old photos of Jewel!), she takes amazing photos of some beautiful and some everyday things.  In a word, she inspired me today!  I got up from my computer, walked into the kitchen and what did I see?  Ju Ju's tiny footprints staring at me!  She, like big Sister, likes to climb.  I pulled her down from the trash can top one morning this week.  Now, I know you're not interested in seeing pictures of my trash can, but this felt like such a fleeting baby moment that I had to grab my camera.  I think Jenny will be proud!

he's becoming a man

jordan went to grandma's house last friday, after school, to do some yard work.  she paid him $10.00 for his time!  on the way home, they stopped by the grocery store to pick up some soda.  jordan asked grandma if he could buy me a special gift with his $10.00.  she picked out some tulips for $5.99 and he said, "no, i already saw the flowers that i want to get her, she likes these kind."  he spent all but $1.00 to buy me a special gift.  i've been waiting for the buds to open up so i could photograph the big flowers!  thanks for letting me share this special gift with you!
