do you miss me yet?

oh man, i have been so busy.  i photographed 150 beautiful children at a pre-school!  i had a great time....but i am ready for a small break.  i am taking an hour out to practice up on my tennis skills on the wii......

i would post pictures of the kids, but i didn't get permission from the parents to post them on my blog.  trust me, they were beautiful!!!!!

ok, i am having another one of my moments.  time to get mushy.  we all know i love love love my career as a photographer, but i wish i could explain the feeling i get when i see an image like this.

i did this.

my heart skipped a few beats when i saw this on my computer screen!  i get the honor of presenting this image to a mother.  i am a mommy and would give anything to have an image like this of my children.....

my heart and soul truly goes into my work.  i can see and feel it in this image.  i knew when i took this shot that we wouldn't see libby's face....just her proud big sister smile! 

so, i am rambling here!  i just want to say that i am thankful for the gift i was given that allows me to create such wonderful treasures for my clients.  i've been asked, "how do you do it."  the funny thing is, i don't know, i just do it. 

i'll go grab my kleenex now!!!!! 

collier ~ 6 months

she was the perfect baby today!!!  6 months till about 9 months is my favorite age to photograph.  they sit up, but they don't go anywhere!!! 

emma has a new career

emma is now a model!  she modeled some clothes for a local clothing designer that i have worked with for the past couple of years.  we had fun today.  4 background colors and about 5 or 6 outfits!  when these cloths start appearing in local boutiques, i will let everyone know where they can get them!!!!!

psycho scrapper weekend

i took a girls weekend away....to do a little scrap booking.  for those of you who really know me, you know that i am not much of a scrap booking kinda girl.  i take the pictures, but organizing and finding time to put them in a book is not my cup of tea.  well, jeannie dragged me kicking and screaming to the big weekend of scrap booking.  um, i am now the psycho scrapper.  i stayed awake from 7:00 thursday morning till 1:00 saturday morning..........yes, scrap booking, with a few breaks to eat, drink and be merry!  anyways, here are some of the lovely girls who attended with me!  if you are at all interested, you can view the entire 100 pictures at the on-line gallery:  psycho scrapper weekend
