david has been driving from venice to ft. myers for the past two years! he has been given a new home in north port....only 25 minutes from our house! when i say new, i mean new!!!! the store opens in a few weeks! i went and saw it yesterday.....and it was beautiful....now you ask, how can a grocery store be beautiful? you'll have to come see it. it is really nice. decorated with nostalgic pictures of the old publix stores, trucks and mr. george jenkins. the colors and designs are modern but with a retro flare from the original stores.....i am sure that i will take more pictures in the next couple of weeks before the store opens!

for those of you who don't know, david is a store manager for publix. he started with publix when he was 15 years old. it was his first job...and he is still with them! he has been a very dedicated publix associate for 20 years! if i sound like a proud wife, i am!

2007 venice chirstmas parade

i usually have too much work to do and i do not participate in the parade with my family! i made some changes this year and took the whole weekend off to build and decorate our church float and then walk in the parade! it was a blast. today, we decorate our family christmas tree! i'll be back to work on monday! i have a session in the morning then i will be returning phone calls, proofing sessions, designing cards, sending out invoices and processing orders! i promise everything will be done in time for christmas. i am working as fast as i can! i thank all of you for your continued love, support and understanding!
