i finally got access to a computer....and a free moment to check my e-mail and all that good stuff. first of all, if you are waiting for proofs, i will have them done as soon as possible! i promise, promise, promise!
now, for the update!
after a week of everybody, except me, being sick, we decided to take the entire family, except me, to the doctor's office monday morning. david went to his doctor while i took the three kids to the pediatrician.
david has bronchitis
steven and maggie are both on antibiotics....they hadn't developed a major illness, but they were well on their way!
and then there is poor jordan. he has a yucky case of pneumonia. he spent most of monday with an oxygen mask on his face.....it seemed to be getting enough oxygen to his lungs....then he went to sleep monday night and was unable to get enough oxygen while he slept......he ended up on a different oxygen machine that allows a very strong air flow with a very high percentage of oxygen. he had a very hard time sleeping because of the flow of moist oxygen being blown up his nose. we both managed to get to sleep around 4 in the morning.
today was a pretty good day. jordan has been weened from 85% oxygen to 40% oxygen. We had a calm day till about 8:00 this evening. jordan broke out in hives all over his legs and then he had an icky reaction to his breathing treatment. The hives were a blessing in disguise because he got to take some benedryll....instant sleep that he desperately needed! it is 11:40pm and he has been sleeping since 10:00pm....not a full night's sleep, but a solid stretch of sleep! i am staying awake because he keeps ripping off his oxygen hose in his sleep and i have to keep putting it back on!!!
oh, and in case you are waiting for the annual waring christmas card and clever poem...i should have them out by, velentine's day! the envelopes, pictures and poems are still sitting on my desk. i need to print the labels, stuff the envelopes and then apply the stamps! i will do all of this after finishing up the proofs that are still outstanding......and, if you have driven by my house and you've seen my beautiful christmas tree standing proud in the front window, don't worry, i'll have that sucker down by my birthday, march 20th!
i've learned that life happens, so you just have to roll with it and extend your deadlines!
christmas cards out by valentine's day
and the tree down by my birthday!
sounds like a plan to me!!!!!!!
check back for updates! when i get back home, i will post some pictures of jordan's stay in the hospital! yes, i am taking pictures every day!
