the walk

i participated in the 2008 march for babies this morning!  baby peter and his daddy, tom, came and walked with me!!!!!  we had a great time!  i just want to thank everybody who donated to the cause!  with your help, i raised $1143.00 and was awarded a plaque from the march of dimes for being the second highest individual money raiser at the event.  thank you, again, for your support!  every baby deserves a healthy start!

i drive down to david's store whenever he needs a picture of something.  today, it was the spring cleaning display!  when i was done with the task at hand, we walked around the store a little.  of course, i snapped some pictures!

and we ended up at the lobster tank!  this little booger splashed all over david!

david cooked hamburgers for all the associates at his store last saturday!  i tagged along to help out!  

they also had a balloon popping game to raise money for the march of dimes!  it was a great turn out!  the raised about $200.00 with this fun little game!

i am getting closer to my goal!  right now, i am at $710.00!  that means, i am only $290.00 away from my goal! 

last week, i was talkin' smack to david.  i told him that i would raise as much money as his entire store!  his goal is $4000.00!  i may not raise more money than david, but i do hope to at least meet my goal!

guess who i ran into at the grocery store tonight!

i ran into my little baby peter!  i can't believe how big he has gotten.  running into him reminded me that we are only about a week away from the march for babies!!!!!  i am $660.00 short of reaching my goal of $1000.00!  if everyone could take a few minutes to grab their debit card and donate a few bucks, i am sure we can make this happen!!!!!  maybe you could donate a few dollars and ask some of your friends to do so as well.  it is for a good cause!!!
