march of dimes / march for babies

there are many great causes out there and many organizations trying to raise money!  i try to support as many as i can, but we all know i have a passion for the little babies! 

last year, i raised $1,200.00 for the march of dimes.  this year, i want to pull together $10,000.00!  do you think we can do it?  i do!  i am just asking everybody for a little bit to go toward my big goal. 

if you are interested in walking with me in the 5 mile walk-a-thon, please let me know!  the walk is on april 25, 2009 at 8:00am.  i would love to have some members on my team!

two special ornaments

i made this one with my mom when i was a little girl in elementary school.  it spent every year on our christmas tree when i was growing up.  now, it has a special place on my tree every year.  and this one is the yearly waring ornament!!!!
