i grabbed the camera on my way out to walk to dog this morning!  i bet i was real cute in the front yard with my jammies and flip flops on, bent down taking a picture of the dog.....

i get asked all the time, "what kind of dog is that."  trixie is a shiba inu.  she is scared of everything.  she either sits in a cushy dog bed next to my computer desk or goes to her little cage.....that's it.  she doesn't bark or roam the house or play.  while i work at my desk, she may come and lay down at my feet.  that's where she is right now!  a couple times a day, she will walk up to me and nudge my hand to pet her.....that's it.  she is a very low maintenance dog.

i love her.  we rescued her from the dog pound almost two  years ago.  who on earth would give this precious girl away?

tucker, tia, haven and their dog daisey

I had the opportunity to meet three amazing kids today.....and their quirky dog.

Tucker is three.  He sucks his first two fingers, carries a blue blanket and loves his little lamb.  He is a loving big brother to his little twin sisters.

Haven is 20 months old.  She sucks her thumb and rubs her nose with the corner of her pink blanket.  She also has a special bunny that she loves very much!

Tia is also 20 months.  She doesn't suck her thumb, but she does carry around a pink blanket.  I don't think she has a special friend like the bunny or lamb, but she is very attached to mommy! 

Daisey is the dog.....She is a great dane.  She hates to have her picture taken and is scared of thunder.  She is a "big baby"   

they made me work for it!

I had a great time with these three kids.....and their dog!!!!
