i wear them everywhere...

...even to my sessions!  this blanket had already been peeeeeeed on by laila; it was out of commission.  so, i used it to photograph my flip flops!  so, here are my flip flops debuting in their first professional studio photography portrait!  did that even make sense?  it's 11:00 pm and i have an ear ache!!!!  i need to just go to bed!

3 hours in paradise

while the three kids were attending vacation bible school, i spent 3 hours in paradise!  sharma is in town for the birth of her nephew, gage!  i went with her and alex!  we had an impromptu photo session of....me!  who would have guessed a session where i was on the other side of the camera!  unfortunately, i was in my swim suit!  the pictures are ok......i guess.....we had a ball taking them!

i took the sunshine picture and the bird picture!  sharma took the rest!  i attempted a little sport called skim boarding!  i won't be posting that picture!

can't forget those flip flops!

it's official, i'm a dork!

ok, i'll admit it.  i'm a dork!

who on earth takes pictures of their shoes on a regular basis?  only me!  why?  i don't know!  but, i've started it for the summer, it's fun and i just can't stop.

so, please just bare with me and suffer through the numerous flip flop pictures that i post here!  count your blessings...i don't post all of my flip flop pictures on the blog.  if you are interested in seeing all of them, feel free to find me on face book and join my "traveling flip flop tour" group.  yeah, i am a dork...i already admitted it!

off shore fishing

i went fishing with david and russ today!  i took bunches of fishing pictures, but i haven't had time to go through them.  here are a few of the "jenny" shots!  you know, the fun, stupid detail things!!!!!!!

and, this is the fish i caught.  in case you don't know, it is a bonita.  you don't eat bonita, they are just fun to catch!  and i had fun catching it!  and, he matches my bathing suit!!!!

oh yeah, we can't forget the flip flops. they came with me!

i listened to that song on the way home from the wedding last night and decided to have our first, of many, "cat's in the cradle" day!  i spend so much time working that i tend to put my kids second!  today was for them.  it started late because i am still under the weather and had some shopping to do.  i went to target, bought them each a new swim suit and a new towel!  then we headed out to mcdonalds, then went to the water park for a picnic lunch and some fun water time!

and i lounged in the sun and listened to my i·pod for a bit!  it was much more relaxing to listen to the i·pod here than at the gym!

and, of course, i took a bunch of pictures!

unfortunately, our day was cut short because poor steven started coughing so hard he threw up!  back to reality! 

we will try a, "cat's in the cradle" day again...real soon!

another day in paradise!

i promise to go back to work on monday!!!!!  my friend, sharma, was visiting from out of town so my boss gave me a couple of days off!!!!  the boss says i must be back at the office on monday morning to answer all of my e-mails!  

i'll admit it...i took the day off work!

this is probably the only time you'll see a picture of me wearing a bathing suit on the internet!!!!
